This is like a knife plunging into my soul. My mind and body know that what I'm witnessing should never be witnessed. That it goes against everything we know to be right. I sometimes fail to comprehend the magnitude of what I'm seeing because the realization of the tragedy that has taken place is so horrific. We're watching thousands of innocent human beings slaughtered before our very eyes. Lives ended in such an evil, calloused way with no way to stop it. I watch at least one video a week of that dark day, not so much out of curiosity or habit, but rather out of guilt and responsibility for still being here. I watch so that I'll never forget. So that I'll never take for granted what these people and their friends and families went through and still suffer through to this day.
